QMS is a simple utility that allows you to find players on Quake 3 servers. Unlike other similar tools, QMS is a very light tool and very handy for players in the same clan (CTF, TDM and the like). It does not depend on any special application server, it is a standalone tool. No registration needed.
It searches in a personal and customizable Quake 3 server list by scanning players names against a defined list of name patterns. When QMS finds a matching name you are notified, you can then select a server in the list and join the party. The Pattern Search options also lets you be warned when QMS finds undesired players (blacklist).
QMS takes into account the different Quake III Arena protocol versions so you don't have to figure out what protocol the server uses. You can also use QMS to simply connect to a server by picking one up in the list regardless of who is playing on it.
QMS is easy to setup.
